Meet Agata

Hi, my name is Agata.

I am a trainee body psychotherapist in Cambridge

Have you noticed how much of your life happens in the body? Joy, anger, a tight chest, exhaustion these are not only thoughts. The mind and body are not separate.

This work can be helpful with anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, difficulty concentrating, irritability, or feeling taken over by your reactions. I will not have every answer. What I can offer is to be there with you in joy and in grief supporting your mind and body towards better health.

The truth is, we all experience challenges and struggles. Sometimes our emotions remain unprocessed and can lead to bigger difficulties. Somatic therapy can help you discover more about yourself and find new ways of coping. We often overcomplicate things, yet part of the answer may be found within our own nervous system. Taking time to listen to your body and care for your soul can be a start.
