How I Work

We usually begin sitting in chairs and talking, but body psychotherapy is not only about words. We may also pay attention to what is happening in your body and what it might be communicating.

Depending on what feels helpful, our work may include:

  • noticing body sensations and developing body awareness

  • biodynamic massage (you can remain fully clothed)

  • using objects or cushions to explore different parts of yourself or important relationships

  • guided imagery

  • working with dreams

  • working on a mattress

  • gentle relaxation and grounding exercises

We will always discuss what feels comfortable and decide together what might be helpful.

A room with a concrete floor, a wall with cracks, and a window with a metal grid. Sunlight creates shadow patterns on a table and an armchair. There is a potted plant on the table.
A windowsill with a small glass of water, a white coffee cup with a saucer, and a row of books on a shelf. The window has peeling paint and looks out onto greenery, with sunlight filtering through leaves.
Living room with white sofa, black and white pillows, round black coffee table, white area rug, large potted plant, tall floor lamp, framed artwork on wall, large window with view of trees and brick buildings, light wood flooring, ceiling light fixture.
Close-up of two hands, one older and one younger, gently holding each other, symbolizing care and compassion.
